Rain, Rain Go Away

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning how to dance in the rain."

These words have great meaning in my family. These are words that my sister Erica lived by before she passed away in March. It's a very good motto to live by, however, right now....I am soooooooo sick of waiting for the storm to pass. I have never seen anything like this in my life. Normally I don't mind a little bit of rain during the summer, in fact I love a nice summer storm after a long heat wave. The smell in the air during is one of my favorite smells in the world. The only problem is that it hasn't stopped raining long enough for a heat wave. It has rained here almost every day for well over a month. I thought this crappy weather was over, we had a couple of good days the passed couple of days (and only a light sprinkle on the fourth), but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, It has been raining all day and its going to rain again tomorrow. It is July 7th, people should be going to the beach and hanging out by pool. Here in Maine we usually only get 3 months of good weather and half of that has been rainy. Today I don't even think it broke 60. On July 1st we had the lowest High temperature in history.

I am sooooo ready for the rain to stop and have a little heat wave. I want to be able to put my air conditioner in....is that too much to ask for???
